The program lasts 24 months with 2 phases:

  • Phase 1: Strengthening the foundation of knowledge in Economics.
  • Phase 2: Developing expertise with specializations in Master of Management specialized in Agribusiness, Business Analytics, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Phrase 1 at ISB, Vietnam: For the Master of Management program at Waikato University, New Zealand: 120,000,000 VND for 3 semesters.
  • Phrase 2 at The Waikato University, New Zealand: One-year transfer at Waikato University, New Zealand – Receive a Master of Management in Supply Chain: ~ NZD $24,086 (estimated tuition fee for 2024).

Phase 1: The main class schedule takes place on weekends and evenings during the week after business hours. The schedule may vary depending on the instructor’s timetable.

Phase 2: Taught in a FLEXI format (students participate in a combination of in-person classes at the university and online sessions).

The application review process will take 5 to 10 working days. If the application is successful, the candidate will receive an Admission Letter. The Admissions Department will contact each candidate to provide advice on the information and conditions outlined in the Admission Letter.

Phase 1: The program is taught by Professors and PhDs from top universities worldwide, along with experts and outstanding leaders from multinational corporations (MNCs) and large enterprises in Vietnam. The ratio is 50-50.

Phase 2: Students study with professors from the University of Waikato.

Students are able to pay tuition fees through monthly installments via a Shinhan Bank credit card in Phrase 1. This payment method optimizes financial and educational benefits for participants, encourages the habit of managing cash flow effectively, and fosters the development of asset management and investment thinking.

The MBA community consists of present and former students of the ISB across all master programs (WSU, ISB, UQÀM, Massey). Furthermore, the community encompasses professors and experts from diverse fields such as Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing, Management Information Systems actively involved in teaching at ISB. They accompany and provide advice to students, ensuring their optimal growth not only throughout the two-year MBA program but also in their future careers.

The ISB alumni network currently comprises over 2000 individuals.

To ensure students have a strong foundation in English across all four skills, gain a competitive edge in the job market, and meet the program’s English requirements, the school has designed an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program tailored to different proficiency levels. This program provides the necessary academic foundation to help students achieve the best results.

Students will learn with both a foreign instructor and a Vietnamese instructor at a specially discounted tuition fee exclusively for participants in Phrase 1. A typical class lasts 20 weeks and is conducted online via Zoom, with sessions held 2 to 3 evenings per week.

Students are allowed to retain their academic results for one semester, equivalent to 3 months, up to a maximum of 1 year. Students need to contact the Student Manager at least 30 days before the start of the new semester to request the retention of their academic results.

Students must meet specific criteria to complete a course, including fulfilling all course requirements, attending a minimum of 80% of the class time, and attaining a minimum grade of 50% in the course’s grading. Failure to meet these requirements necessitates students to re-enroll and retake the course in subsequent semesters when a suitable class schedule is available.

It’s important to note that the school does not provide a reexamination process. The fees for retaking courses are determined by the course rates at the time of retaking.

Students can register for more courses if their schedules do not overlap or fewer courses than the school’s planned curriculum. However, this is not encouraged, as the schedule in Phrase 1 is designed to help students balance work and study effectively.
