What is the value of a degree issued by Western Sydney University?

A Western Sydney University degree carries global recognition and holds considerable value. The attainment of such a qualification signifies the successful completion of an internationally acclaimed program, acknowledged and respected on a worldwide scale.

The program has designed an English for Academic Purposes program for different proficiency levels to ensure students have a strong foundation in English across all four language skills and gain a competitive edge in the job market, as well as meet the English language requirements for stage 2. This curriculum provides students with the academic foundation for students to achieve their best results.

Students will be taught by one Foreign instructor and one Vietnamese instructor, with a special discounted tuition fee available exclusively for PSO MBA students.. A regular class session typically spans 20 weeks, conducted online via Zoom for 2 to 3 evening sessions per week.

Students have the option to register for additional courses as long as there is no overlap in the class schedules or a reduced number of courses compared to the school’s schedule. Nevertheless, the school discourages this practice because the PSO MBA program schedule is specifically designed to maintain a balance between work and study for students.

The MBA community consists of present and former students of the ISB across all master programs (WSU, ISB, UQÀM, Massey). Furthermore, the community encompasses professors and experts from diverse fields such as Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing, Management Information Systems actively involved in teaching at ISB. They accompany and provide advice to students, ensuring their optimal growth not only throughout the two-year MBA program but also in their future careers.

The ISB alumni network currently comprises over 2000 individuals.

In the PSO MBA program, students have the option to settle their tuition fees through monthly installments utilizing the EduFin-Shinhan financial solution. This approach maximizes the financial benefits and learning advantages for participants, cultivating a practice of effective cash flow management. Additionally, it contributes to the development of asset management and investment thinking among the students.

The school will review student applications within a timeframe of 5 to 10 working days. Successful applicants will be issued an Offer Letter. The Admissions Department will then reach out to each applicant, furnishing details and conditions specified in the Offer Letter.

The program provides business knowledge, practical experience, and networking equivalent to three years in large corporations. It equips students with strategic thinking, leadership skills, technological foundations, and practical sessions guided by industry experts. This creates a ‘shortcut’ for career development and advancement in the future.

Students must meet specific criteria to complete a course, including fulfilling all course requirements, attending a minimum of 80% of the class time, and attaining a minimum grade of 50% in the course’s grading. Failure to meet these requirements necessitates students to re-enroll and retake the course in subsequent semesters when a suitable class schedule is available.

It’s important to note that the school does not provide a reexamination process. The fees for retaking courses are determined by the course rates at the time of retaking.

Students are allowed to defer their academic results for a period ranging from one semester (equivalent to 3 months) up to a maximum of one year. To request a deferral of academic results, students must contact the Student Administration Office at least 30 days before the commencement of the new semester.
